Through out my time of making GMOD machinimas, or even making something at all, there's bound to be a time when a project becomes too taxing or just plain garbage, either that or Vegas Pro being an ass and blue screening on me, or my screen recorder not picking up the footage/filming it the wrong way.
or in another case, scrapping them in favour for a more promising concept.
Today I thought I would share these missing or cancelled videos, they go from August 2021 to Now
1. The GMOD Insanity Collection (THE 2021 VERSION)
In 2021, I decided I wanted to make a few GMOD videos for my own entertainment, as well as checking out the capabilities of the editing software I had at the time (Shotcut).
note that back then, this was before GMOD 12 Resurrected or me finding GMOD 12, it was just me pissing around on regular GMOD and posting that stuff on YouTube, until I deleted them.
Also before I came up with the name "Insanity Collection" the series was known as "GMOD Madness"
Thankfully I still have the videos I downloaded before I permanently removed them, here it is.

Unfortunately I didn't download all of the videos, which leaves us with just the thumbnail,
the 4th video is forever lost to time and if you're wondering what happened to the 5th?
In April 2022 I decided to start over my whole channel, I deleted all videos except one:
Among all the deleted videos from 2021, I remember one video particularly named "Heavy Venture"
The basic premise of the video was Heavy wanting to eat a sandwich, scout steals it, scout escapes with a dimensional device but leaves it in Heavy's dimension, determined to get back his sandwich, Heavy uses the device to travel through different worlds and all that sci-fi stuff, eventually he travels back into his dimension just in the nick of time to stop scout from eating the sandwich, Heavy wins in the end and in enjoys his sandwich in the sunset THE END.
before I started over, I wanted to make a sequel for that video, the idea was Heavy just chilling in his house until he gets a phone call that causes the device to break, in a panic, Heavy looks around the device to see where it was manufactured, Black Mesa, afterwards he goes into his car and drives to black mesa.

anyway, due to the deleted videos, it didn't make sense to make a sequel to a video that doesn't exist anymore, it would have ruined any kind of continuity if I kept working on the sequel.
However, the idea of Heavy being in random places was recycled for "Heavy In Places" so in the end I scrapped "Heavy Venture 2" in favour for "Heavy In Places"
Heavy's Dumbass Adventure
In April this year, I got extremely bored and burnt out on video ideas and as a result of that I created
Heavy's Dumbass Adventure to try and reimagine the idea of "Heavy Venture"
In July 2022, I had the idea to make a 100 ways to die video, jeez in retrospect that is the most overdone thing to do these days, anyway, the video no longer exists because Vegas Pro 12 kept blue screening on me and as a result I had to scrap it.

In April this year I wanted to make a video about how to avoid Mingebags, but due to a bigger project in the works at the time, I decided to scrap it to avoid overloading.
7. Half-Life: Full Life Consequences but its continued by an AI
During December 2022,
MegaZombieman115 was pissing around with Chat GTP 3 and created a pretty funny sounding continuation, the idea was so hilarious at the time, I tried making a video around it.
Jeez, I haven't used this blog for a while huh, well screw it I'm here now.
So, a quick update on shit:
Firstly, "OUTSKIRTS DEMO 2" is finally out the door and was so good that it even got the attention of bolloxed, which was pretty amazing. better still after the demo was released, I've taken a well deserved break from the Mod for now.
Thirdly, which is the greatest one, I've recently had the urge to make proper Garry's Mod videos again, and before you think "oh no is something happening with melon or someshit?" nah, I'm completely fine.
its just that some projects (including a huge project) have slowed other projects down significantly.
but thankfully, those times are now over and I can start making proper videos again.

And Finally, ever since I've taken a break from OUTSKIRTS, I have been helping Mike (PanMann)
with the map making, and a little bit of scripting for his Mod "Zombie Town", its still very early in development so ill leave yall with these fake E3 Images.
And for Halloween, I guess you can say the "Gaming" side to melon is going to make a comeback.
Its Been 2 Months since I last spoke about the Development of OUTSKIRTS.
I have made Brilliant Progress these last couple of weeks, the first 3 Maps have been fully completed and are ready to be fully rendered. the 4th map is still in the making.

What The Intro Would Have Been Like
The Footage (From what I remember) was Filmed in Mid-Late August
The Intro would have been the G-man doing his intro speech from Half-Life 2
Using the Scene tool in Garry's Mod 12 with the camera slowly zooming out.
As he was talking, weird or funny stuff would happen around him like a guy on a bench with beer or the Demoman doing crazy shit
Then when the G-man has finished his speech a train horn would sound then out of nowhere a train would drop on him (A Reference to the G-man Being hit by a train in TGIC1)
Unfortunately, The whole intro was filmed with JUST the Audio Meaning it was unusable
