Just a Catch-Up...

Jeez, I haven't used this blog for a while huh, well screw it I'm here now.

So, a quick update on shit:

Firstly, "OUTSKIRTS DEMO 2" is finally out the door and was so good that it even got the attention of bolloxed, which was pretty amazing. better still after the demo was released, I've taken a well deserved break from the Mod for now.

Secondly, Progress with a Seventh addition to the "The GMOD Insanity Collection" is coming along slowly, but its nearing its completion.

Thirdly, which is the greatest one, I've recently had the urge to make proper Garry's Mod videos again, and before you think "oh no is something happening with melon or someshit?" nah, I'm completely fine.

its just that some projects (including a huge project) have slowed other projects down significantly.

but thankfully, those times are now over and I can start making proper videos again.

And Finally, ever since I've taken a break from OUTSKIRTS, I have been helping Mike (PanMann)

with the map making, and a little bit of scripting for his Mod "Zombie Town", its still very early in development so ill leave yall with these fake E3 Images.

And for Halloween, I guess you can say the "Gaming" side to melon is going to make a comeback.

"OUTSKIRTS DEMO 2" - Progress...

Its Been 2 Months since I last spoke about the Development of OUTSKIRTS.

I have made Brilliant Progress these last couple of weeks, the first 3 Maps have been fully completed and are ready to be fully rendered. the 4th map is still in the making.

1. A Fixed and Improved Game

2. A Character to help you around the town (I figured out Faceposer)

3. A Completely Redone/Redesigned Layout

4. Being a Better version than DEMO 1 (which NGL was kinda shit)

The Lost Intro To TGIC4

 This Image Of the G-man is actually the only remaining trace of the original introduction to

"The GMOD Insanity Collection 4"

What The Intro Would Have Been Like

The Footage (From what I remember) was Filmed in Mid-Late August

The Intro would have been the G-man doing his intro speech from Half-Life 2

Using the Scene tool in Garry's  Mod 12 with the camera slowly zooming out.

As he was talking, weird or funny stuff would happen around him like a guy on a bench with beer or the Demoman doing crazy shit

Then when the G-man has finished his speech a train horn would sound then out of nowhere a train would drop on him (A Reference to the G-man Being hit by a train in TGIC1)

Unfortunately, The whole intro was filmed with JUST the Audio Meaning it was unusable

and had to be scrapped.
